PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Ensuring that all products manufactured in medical technology production are free of defects, fully documented and compliant with legal requirements as well as ISO 13485.

YOUR TASKS

• Carrying out production inspections & monitoring and documenting the results (creation, maintenance and evaluation)
• Performing and documenting in-process inspections
• Ensuring product quality and proactive/preventive involvement in product and process development
• Checking compliance with specification requirements
• Performing analyses and evaluations as part of quality control for effective and sustainable error correction
• Root cause analysis of quality deviations & initiation of corrective actions
• Participation in the continuous improvement of QA processes

• Ensuring consistent quality compliance

YOUR PROFILE

• Completed technical training and several years of professional experience in technical quality assurance
• Practical experience in inspection processes - visual, dimensional and functional inspections, ideally based on inspection instructions and specifications
• Handling of inspection equipment - use of measuring equipment, functional checks, basic calibration checks
• Collaboration with production - experience in a manufacturing environment, understanding of workflows, machines and process steps
• Failure analysis - knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Experience with deviations and non-conformities - identifying, documenting and processing defects in production
• Audit experience - participation in internal or external audits, ideally in a supporting QA role
• Familiarity with ISO 13485 - a basic understanding of the standard, its documentation requirements and process specifications is desirable
• Quality and responsibility awareness, teamwork, reliability, technical understanding, initiative, willingness to learn as well as a structured and thorough way of working

For this we are looking for a dedicated person to actively shape this exciting journey with us. Together we develop modern manufacturing processes for our Citizen and STAR CNC sliding head lathes, establish consistent programming standards and drive the digitization of our production forward.

• Introduction and further development of Autodesk Fusion 360

YOUR PROFILE

• Completed technical training or degree, or several years of professional experience in CAD/CAM or CNC manufacturing
• Very good CAD/CAM knowledge, ideally with Autodesk Fusion 360
• Experience in CNC programming and machining technology
• Confident drawing interpretation as well as knowledge of tooling technology and serial production
• Initiative, enthusiasm for innovation, analytical thinking, quality awareness, teamwork and strong communication skills
